Everything is on sale right now, especially on Amazon, and my Black Friday Amazon random finds are all linked here. It’s also officially Favorite Things season, so I’m getting ready for a few white elephant (or “favorite things”) parties. The idea is simple: everyone brings one favorite item valued at around $100. My friend Wendy has been hosting her party for nearly twenty years, and I started going about fifteen years ago. I still use so many of the things I’ve brought home over the years. The night is always full of laughter, good food, and a little friendly competition over who gets to steal what. One of my all-time favorite scores from Wendy’s party was a carry-on bag that I still bring on every trip
