"This ain’t Texas…"
Substack vs Meta. What do I need to know? Should I change my social media strategy? And a very important iphone update!
If you've been hearing the new Beyoncé song over and over again via Instagram, it may be time to take a break from the app:) I love her song but not in 15 second loops. There's no music here on Substack. I also don’t see nearly as much “Rage-Bait” here as I have seen in other apps. If apps like these are making you angry and also making you stay too long on the app then this might be the place for you.

Back to Substack... I hear a lot of questions like, 'Do I really have to do that?' or 'Am I really going to make money doing that?' It takes so much work, but being successful, aka working hard, is worth it. Will I really make a difference on Substack? YES, you will. There is no imposter syndrome here. I have met with three completely different businesses this week, and I have coached them on how to move their business to Substack and the ways Substack can help them make additional money. Today, I am going to show you an example of one of those businesses.
But first, some things you need to know…
iPhone Privacy Issue: Have you heard about the NEW privacy concerns on your phone? If not, help is on the way… Make sure you have made this important changes so you are not sharing your personal data with strangers. You’re welcome!
What is that bag??
I have had so many comments on my new bag. I love it. It helps to have a fashionista friend in my corner. My friend Sarah advises me on all things. I highly recommend you follow her on Instagram and of course her substack which is coming soon!

Speaking of fashionishtas… I got to see another favorite of mine, Abby Arad, and she gifted me this fabulous coat for my upcoming trip. It is completely sold out, but I also love her hats, visors and her bathing suits (which are the most amazing).

What are you listening to?
“The Big Leap” Audiobook: Here is a link to the book so you can read or listening depending on your preference. It’s an interesting take on overcoming false fears and beliefs.
What are you buying?
Well, an iphone rig. (cue the laugh track). If you follow some of the digital marketing blogs and substacks, you may have heard about the viral iphone rig that the Vogue social media editor was carrying at Paris Fashion Week. I have linked it below and it is awesome (if you are a geek about these things like I am)
